- Take a saucepan and heat it over a medium-low flame.
- Now add 1 ½ cups of water to it.
- Now add oats to the water.
- Keep the flame at low.
- Add cranberries or cherries to the oats.
- Put 1 tsp of ground ginger in the above mixture.
- Add cinnamon.
- Let the mixture boil.
- Simmer it for about 5 minutes.
